You Make Me Smile!

June 6, 2009

The other night I had the opportunity to photography my little nephew, Caiden, again! It’s so funny how fast time flies. Caiden turns one on June 27th and it seems like just a couple of weeks ago that I was getting things in line for my float in¬†the Melrose Parade when we got the call that I had a new little nephew! Crazy that a whole year has passed and that this little guy has grown so much. I visited him today and he surprised me with his first couple of steps. I’m sure by the time his mom and dad read this he will be running!

Caiden- I had SO much fun with you the other night. I can’t wait to celebrate with you at your circus themed birthday party! I know you are a little circus monkey at heart! ūüôā Enjoy your photos, and I can’t wait to watch you grow for another year! (lets make this one go by a little slower though!)

Love,
Uncle Adam

Here¬†is the¬†video and the¬†photos from Caiden’s session. I hope they make you smile!

Aydree turned ONE!

November 11, 2008

I had a lengthy paragraph written for this post but my computer gacked and erased it all… SO … I don’t know if I should try and remeber what I had all written or just keep it short and sweet and just share the photos!

Aydree made a trip down to Willmar to meet me so I could photograph her in the studio for her one year photos. I love watching her at this age. She just seems so smart, and personality filled ever since she started walking. She isn’t¬†a little girl anymore. She seems so big now that she is running all over the place. I had a fun afternoon with you Aydree. I hope you aren’t sick of me torturing you with my camera yet, cause I know that I am not even close to being done with photographing you!

Robert- Senior ’09

August 5, 2008

Last Friday I had a session with my neighbor out here at the lake. Robert, a senior from Apollo High School, put up with all of my ideas and was very easygoing throughout the entire session. I wasn’t very surprised by¬†his easygoing attitude¬†since I have never know Robert to be any different! Robert, I had a lot of fun photographing you, and I really got a lot of¬†awesome shots of you during your session. Thanks again for choosing me to be your senior photographer, and I can’t wait to deliver the rest of your photos to you in a couple weeks! Enjoy your video and your sneak peek photos that I have¬†posted below!

Well as the title says it, the shoemaker’s children have no shoes. Same goes for the Photographer’s family who has no family portrait!

We decided to change that this weekend and I hired my girlfriend (also a photographer), Amanda, to come and take a quick shot of our family. Quick it was with two young children and a group of men who would rather be doing other things on a hot and humid sunday afternoon, but we manged to get one shot that we can finally put up in our home! It is not the best there is or the most creative portrait, but at least I can finally say that my family has a family portrait!

So here it is. Shot four from the total of eight shots we took. I’d say we did pretty well!

Jordan- Senior 2009

July 22, 2008

Last Thursday I met up with Jordan, a senior from Melrose High School, for his senior session. Jordan just got his braces removed the day before his session, and I think he was pretty happy to be braces free. Thank you Jordan for the fun session. I really enjoyed photographing you and can’t wait to show you the rest of your images. But for now, here are a couple to hold you over until I have the rest done!
